"There is just something about that wonderful infusion of rum with pineapple juice and coconut milk that inspired me to write this song. Maybe it's because the first time I had a pina colada it was a beautiful January day and I was lying on a beach in St. Thomas. That and my delightfully uninhibited friend Carolyn who just happens to live in Alpena.”
